I just tried all of this and in 5 minutes had my basic traktor commands including FX mapped to my Kore2controller. If you open 4 instances of kore2midix8learn, you can simulate the 4 pages of controls in traktor.

The ens supports 128 unique controller pages. You can then open the traktor midi assignment prefs and learn all the commands you already have customized, or more. For that sourcechannel, assign it to the IAC midi out. Then in Kore open from my toolpack Kore2MidiX8learn koresound/reaktor ensemble.

In traktor prefs, turn on the same driver but input. Then open Kore and in its midi settings enable the Apple Computer Co. Change its status to online and then it will as a driver appear in your osx applications. On the mac, visit the audio midi settings and look at the properties of IAC driver. Kore and Traktor are pretty easy, especially on the mac.

The other bene for bidule is the ability to right click assign MP on the kore 2 instances and assign them to cpu0 or cpu1. The plugin can also load Rewire devices so theoretically you could even have Reason running inside KORE!

Plus it's fx and sound mangling abilities are superb and although it is well behind eXT as a "traditional" sequencer it has far more flexibility - it has step sequencing but also a number of algorithmic sequencing and arpeggiating tools. The way Bidule handles VST automation and midi messages is much more powerful and flexible and you can set it up so it becomes totally transparent to KORE - that is any plugin inside Bidule loaded as a plugin into KORE can expose it's parameters to the KORE hardware controllers and you can choose which ones do this - even to map parameters from more than one plugin and modules from Bidule all at once - they are all treated the same! The other thing is if you make a combo in Bidule and save it as a KORESound it loads up intact with all plugins and their patches recalled too. Ohmygod by Ohmboyz Ring modulator (CM Magazine).I had been experimenting with using Energy XT to load plugins into KORE that don't load their own FXP banks, chain multiple plugins and to add some sequencing and recording functionality but eXT's automation is comparatively poor so I've now switched to Bidule which is much better. Its a lot like plogue bidule, or a super simplified logic pro. I have 57 payware plugins but only use 50 of these on a regular basis. but i want to use a small linux derivative like feather or damnsmall linux as examples. I have 12 freeware plugins that I really love but only use once in a while. I have 45 freeware plugins that I really love and use a lot. I had no idea I had that many installed.) I have a total of 331 plugins installed ( Holly. I just spent the last 2 hours sorting through all my plugins and made a list of what I actually use. There is a similar thread going on at KVR and it made me wonder.
